Going to have a practice next week on a new kuksa on a rather nice burl Ive been saving and a quick oil and strop for the knives ready for the next carving course.
Just couldn't resist picking up a Husqvarna hatchet from the local chainsaw dealer. Shame its not the older wetterlings model, but this one is very nice, just carefully reground the bevels and sharpened her up.
For £25 for a hand forged Swedish axe you cant go wrong. The style of sheath is not to everyone's taste, but it does the job and is excellent quality thick leather.
Plenty of things I want to get making now, so hopefully there will be something to post up soon.
